Best Hotels Near Dublin Airport (T1 & T2 Guide)
Dublin Airport (DUB) handles 32+ million passengers a year across two terminals — Ryanair owns T1, Aer Lingus and most long-haul fly from T2. Both are walkable from each other, but the right hotel saves you a 4am taxi from the city. Here are the best sign-up offers UK travellers use for DUB hotels.
Dublin's two terminals at a glance
T1 is the original 1972 terminal — Ryanair, easyJet, TUI and most short-haul low-cost. T2 opened in 2010 and is home to Aer Lingus, British Airways, Emirates, United, Delta and the US pre-clearance facility (clear US immigration in Dublin, walk off the plane domestically in JFK or Boston).
The two terminals are connected by a 5-minute covered walkway, so a hotel "near T1" is also a hotel near T2 — with one exception: the Maldron Dublin Airport is closer to T1 by about 4 minutes' walk.
Hotels you can walk to from the terminal
Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport
5-minute covered walk to T1 • 8 minutes to T2
The closest hotel to either terminal at DUB. Irish-owned, reliable 4-star, with the Grain & Grill restaurant open until late — handy for evening arrivals before an early-morning flight.
Radisson Blu Hotel Dublin Airport
Free 24/7 shuttle • 5 min to terminals
The default business pick. Free shuttle every 15–20 minutes, the only on-airport hotel with a proper indoor pool, and Radisson Rewards points often discount the rate by 10%.
Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport
Free shuttle • 5 min to terminals
Big 4-star with a 24-hour gym and the best breakfast on-site. Often £20–30 cheaper than the Radisson Blu for a comparable room — book direct on Clayton's site for the lowest rate, then add it via SentoBot's tracked link below for the package perks.
Premier Inn Dublin Airport
Free shuttle • 7 min to terminals
Dublin's only Premier Inn at the airport. Predictable beds, predictable price, predictable shuttle — the safest pick when you just need to be at T1 by 5am.
Park, Stay & Fly bundles (cheaper than separate)
For trips of 4+ days, a Park, Stay & Fly bundle is almost always cheaper than booking a hotel and 7+ days of airport parking separately. ParkVia is the market leader for Dublin Airport — direct contracts with the Maldron, Clayton, and Premier Inn that include 8–15 days of secured parking with free 24h cancellation.

Onward travel: Dublin Airport into the city
DUB has no rail link (yet — the MetroLink is in planning). Your best options are:
- Aircoach 700/700A: €9 single to O'Connell Street / city centre, every 15 minutes, 24 hours. Faster than the Dublin Bus 16/41 and stops at most major hotels.
- Dublin Bus 16: €3.30 with a Leap Card to O'Connell Street. Slowest but cheapest.
- Taxi: €25–35 to city centre, 25–40 minutes depending on traffic. The Port Tunnel is fastest off-peak.
- Welcome Pickups (pre-booked): €40 fixed-price meet-and-greet. Worth it for early arrivals or families with luggage.
